Nursery Practitioner positions available in Brighton and Hove. A full-time vacancy at our nursery in Portland Road, Hove, is for 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, all year round. Qualifications are not essential but you must be able to demonstrate a genuine desire to work with children 0-5 years old and have the appropriate skills. You must be willing to undertake an Ofsted approved childcare qualification (subject to entry requirements and funding) and other relevant training courses. Your main duty will be to care for and supervise children as a Key worker within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

A part-time position at our nursery in Preston Park, Brighton, is for 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, all year round. The hours are 8.00am to 2.00pm. Qualifications are not essential but you must be able to demonstrate a genuine desire to work with children 0-5 years old and have the appropriate skills. You must be willing to undertake an Ofsted approved childcare qualification (subject to entry requirements and funding) and other relevant training courses. Your main duty will be to care for and supervise children as a Key worker within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage. This position may lead to full-time, as required.

Qualifications are not essential but you must be able to demonstrate a genuine desire to work with children 0-5 years old and have the appropriate skills. You must also be willing to achieve a basic Food Hygiene certificate. Your main duty will be to serve children’s hot and cold lunches and it is essential that you understand and demonstrate the importance of high standards for food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
