Nappies We Use

Nappy Changing

Hopscotch Children’s Nurseries provide Bambo Nature nappies for children whilst they are at nursery. We also provide creams and wipes. Across our nurseries we use around 1800 nappies a week. At Hopscotch we believe is it very important to be socially responsible and endeavour to put this into practice whenever possible. The impact of this high number of nappies on our environment is not acceptable and therefore the brand we use are one of the highest quality, eco-friendly disposables available on the market today and are kind to babies’ skin. They are super-absorbent with all of the features of a premium disposable nappy but with an environmentally friendly manufacturing process. The allergy tested raw material used in the manufacture of Bambo Nature contains no PVC, perfumes, lotions or optical whiteners, reducing the likelihood of your baby having an allergic reaction or rashes.

In many cases the greatest impact on the environment occurs during manufacturing and it is the raw materials used and the process followed by the Danish manufacturer, that have led to Bambo Nature being the only nappy to receive the prestigious Nordic Swan Eco label. Chemicals classified as harmful, irritant, allergenic, sensitizanic, carcinogenic, mutagenic, teratogenic, or environmentally harmful are not used in the raw materials in the end production of the nappies; and all raw materials are FDA approved. Bambo Nature have a high percentage of wheat starch in the absorbent core. Wheat starch is a 100 % biodegradable natural absorbent.

If you do not wish your child to use our products but prefer to bring your own, then please let your nursery manager know.
