Welcome to Hopscotch Peacehaven. We are a friendly and fun nursery located just off the main A259 coast road and within easy reach of the No 12 bus route running from Brighton to Seaford.
At Hopscotch Peacehaven there are three large and spacious nursery rooms and the luxury of a very large garden. Our room for the Under 2’s is warm and welcoming, and is equipped with it’s own toys and furniture to meet all the needs of your baby or young child. We provide a stimulating, learning environment which offers the activities and experiences babies need to grow and develop. Our caring, experienced staff care for all their needs, including lots of hugs and cuddles.
Our older children are supported to become confident learners and independent thinkers, as we provide them with a wide variety of activities to challenge and stimulate them, helping them to grow and develop in a happy, safe and secure environment. Our large classroom provides a rich and varied learning environment for our children between 2 and 5 years. Children have the freedom and opportunity to explore and create independently, with the support of our qualified staff. Children can access activities such as literacy, numeracy, art and craft, messy play, stories, construction, imaginative play, music and movement and much more. We also have a weekly Spanish lesson. By coming to our nursery children will develop their social skills and make lots of friends.
We are so lucky at Hopscotch Peacehaven to have a very large garden where we are able to give children valuable outdoor experiences. There is equipment to support physical development such as a large climbing frame and bikes, and other sections such as our digging and planting area where we plant flowers and vegetables, so helping the children to enjoy and become involved in nature and observe changes in the weather and the seasons. We also have an herb garden helping to develop their senses through smell, touch and taste.
