Early Years Teacher Ana Iglesias Ronda – Preston Park, Brighton
My name is Ana Iglesias Ronda and I joined Hopscotch in 2018 and am an Early Years Teacher at our Brighton preschool. I hold an Early Years Education University Degree and I have been working with children since 2008.
I have a genuine passion for teaching and firmly believe in the importance of the early stages of children’s development. I encourage them to explore and build on their learning through a wide range of experiences, respecting their own rhythms. One of my main aims is to offer children a fun and rich learning environment creating a space where they can feel loved and confident.
Early Years Teacher Clare Patterson – Portland Road, Hove
My name is Clare Patterson and I have worked at Hopscotch since 1998. I am a qualified Early Years Teacher at our nursery in Portland Road, Hove and work with the pre-school children where my favourite activities are messy play and music. I spent the first four years at our Preston Park nursery before transferring to Portland Road in 2002. During my time at Hopscotch I have been responsible for providing a classroom that is warm and welcoming, with activities that inspire and stimulate both the children and adults. I have also guided and trained many trainee staff through their studies on their way to gaining their NVQ qualifications.
Early Years Teacher Clare Nye – Peacehaven
My name is Clare and I joined Hopscotch in 2022 as an Early Years Teacher. I have a BA Honours Degree in Primary Education (with QTS) and a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare and Education.
I have been working with children in both nursery and primary school settings for over 10 years. My most recent experience is as a primary school teacher, but I have also worked as a childcare practitioner and a teaching assistant in Reception and Year 1.
I have two young children and I enjoy walking, reading, baking and photography.
Early Years Teacher Lauren Brown – Seaford
My name is Lauren Brown and I joined Hopscotch in 2014. I am the Early Years Teacher at our Seaford Nursery and hold a First Class Honours Degree in Professional Studies in Primary Education and Qualified Teacher Status.
I love to make the children’s play and learning as fun and creative as possible, for example, creating exciting and inviting outdoor maths opportunities. I also make story-telling fun with props and role-play.
