East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service Visit Preston Park Nursery

Ahead of Bonfire Night last week our Preston Park nursery had a visit from the East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, to raise awareness with our pre-schoolers about fire safety. Darren Glover gave a brilliantly interactive talk about fire hazards and dangers around the house. The children did a fantastic job of cementing what they’d learned by helping Darren point out the potential dangers in a story he read to them. The session ended with the children trying on a Fireman’s uniform, which they loved!
