Job Summary

Location:Hopscotch Brighton and Hove

Hours:Full time - 42.5 hours Monday to Friday

Salary:£6.90 - £9.57 per hour

Holiday:28 days

To implement and promote all Hopscotch policies and the Staff Rules
To understand and demonstrate high standards for food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
To have an understanding of children's development and their needs
To undertake appropriate training and professional development
To ensure quality learning and development experiences for children
To demonstrate a genuine love for children
To care for and supervise the group of children assigned to them
To ensure their safety at all times
To take an interest in the children and their families
To create an interesting and stimulating environment for the children
To provide at all times a warm and caring environment for babies
To provide support for any children with special educational needs
To ensure positive management of children’s behaviour
To carry out housekeeping duties as appropriate
To support the ethos, implementation and legal requirements of the EYFS
To ensure an adherence to the health and safety policy relating to the provision of play
To understand and carry out appropriate Safeguarding Children procedures
