On induction to our setting the Key Person and parents share information about the strengths and needs of their child. The parents have the opportunity to accompany their child on a visit to help settle them and develop a relationship with the Key Person. The child will always be at the heart of what we do. We work with the parents and support the child together for more effective quality of care. When additional support is identified for the child’s development, he/she will be give an Individual Education Plan (IEP) which is reviewed every six weeks.
Tapestry Learning Journeys support settings in recording their children’s special moments and help parents be involved in partnership as their children blossom and grow. All children attending have a personal online learning journey which records photos, observations and comments, in line with the EYFS, to build up a record of their experiences during their time with us.
