The Real Junk Food Project Brighton

Posted on by Lauren Small

We have recently been made aware of the amazing work The Real Junk Food Project Brighton has been doing locally and, as we come to the end of Lockdown 2, the services they offer are likely to become even more critical. We therefore plan to support their fantastic work by collecting food on their behalf and donating to them. We will be placing plastic bins outside the nurseries at drop-off and collection times to collect donations of tinned foods only. Anything other than tinned food will not be able to be donated and may therefore be wasted, so we ask you to bear this in mind.
In addition, we are planning to make a financial contribution to this project and if anyone would like to make a donation, Hopscotch will exactly match all monies donated by our Hopscotch parents. Donations can be made via a PayPal donation site we have setup. Whatever we have collected by Friday 11 December, we will match and send to the Real Junk Food Project in good time ahead of the upcoming Christmas period.
