Training Day with Drum Cafe

Hopscotch held a series of training events for their 140 staff, organised and hosted by Owner, Barbara Ford. On the agenda were sessions on Team Building, Customer Service and Safeguarding. To help demonstrate teamwork, the highlight of the day was a session by Drum Cafe, who taught staff to play Djembe drums and Boomwhackers. This caused much hilarity at first but by the end everyone managed to keep in time. These sessions were not only great fun but energised the team and emphasised how working well together creates a harmonious and supportive environment.
Everyone agreed the training was a success, especially the drums which staff immediately requested to purchase for the children to enjoy in the nurseries.
