Dinosaur week at Peacehaven

Posted on by Caroline Oliver

Last week we had great fun learning all about Dinosaurs and one of our parents kindly donated a ‘dinosaur egg’ for the children to discover. Our Dinosaur hatched from his egg and we were all very excited to meet him; after a vote, we’ve named him Boris!  Boris enjoyed himself at night time, leaving his footprints throughout the nursery, munching on our snack, drawing pictures and reading our stories!
The children enjoyed lots of activities throughout the week; including watching dinosaurs melt from ice, crafting and painting dinosaur models and learning about the different species.

Our School Leavers enjoyed a trip to Paradise Park. We travelled on the local bus to Newhaven and explored the dinosaur park, climbing frames and had our picnic in the gardens.  A fun day was had by all.
