Hopscotch Curriculum
With over 37 years of experience, Hopscotch has nurtured generations of confident, curious learners. Our curriculum builds on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and goes further — embedding a love of learning through play, exploration and rich experiences. At Hopscotch, we don’t just prepare children for school; we ignite their lifelong passion for discovery.
Since May 2022, three of our nurseries have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted — recognition of our commitment to exceptional early years care and education.

Safe and Stimulating Spaces
Every Hopscotch nursery offers safe, cosy and well-resourced spaces where children can feel at home. Each setting has a dedicated housekeeper, allowing our practitioners to focus fully on the children. With diverse books, toys and resources, imaginations, bodies and minds are free to thrive.

Building Bonds
Friendships flourish at Hopscotch. Children learn to take turns, share ideas and build relationships that support them far beyond nursery life. Activities like Show and Tell give children the confidence to talk about what matters to them, while encouraging listening and curiosity in others.

Adventures - Inside and Out
Learning at Hopscotch extends well beyond the classroom. Children enjoy regular park and beach visits, library trips, and opportunities to discover the world right on their doorstep.
We’re also proud to be part of our local communities. Whether it’s helping out with gardening in community gardens or bringing smiles by singing at nearby care homes, our children learn the importance of kindness, belonging and making a difference.
These experiences build confidence, spark curiosity and help children feel connected to the wider world around them.
