Nurturing happy and independent children for 37 years

Our newest Hopscotch nursery is set in a homely converted house in central Worthing just a short walk to Worthing train station. We have a large private garden which is well resourced with exciting games, a natural play area and exhilarating adventure equipment.

Having just acquired the nursery in September 2023 we are now undertaking an exciting investment programme in the nursery to ensure it quickly reaches the levels of our other Hopscotch nursery settings.

Hopscotch Worthing Central is centrally located close to Worthing’s busiest train station and just a short walk from the high street, Worthing Hospital and the green spaces of Victoria Park.

Ofsted Rated Good

Hopscotch Worthing Central is currently graded as 'Good' by Ofsted in its most recent inspection report, which occurred under the nursery's previous ownership. The setting is currently in the process of being re-registered with Ofsted following the acquisition of the nursery by Hopscotch.

Offering vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, sugar free and no pork meal options, our Worthing Central nursery offers award winning catering by Little Tums. Parents can choose to add hot lunches and teas for nutritionally well-balanced meals or alternatively we will happily serve packed lunches from home - we are happy to accommodate any choice.

As a first time parent, sending my baby to nursery at 9.5 months (May 2025) was hard. However my first impression of Hopscotch proved right and it has been exceptional. My daughter, now 19 months, smiles when I drop her off and enters through their doors without even looking back :) She has made beautiful connections with other babies/toddlers and staff members, she is stimulated and also has time to relax and regulate. When concerns have been raised, they have been looked into promptly, professionally and respectfully. I feel staff genuinely care for our little ones. I cannot recommend Hopscotch enough.
