  • General repairs and maintenance jobs
  • A high-level of general maintenance skills and capabilities required
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Organised with time-management skills, prioritising and managing own workload
  • You must also be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
  • 25 hours per week Mon-Fri

Childcare Journal Administrator – Brighton

Hopscotch Nurseries – Head Office, Brighton

  • Competitive salary – 15 hours per week, all year round
  • 28 days holiday per annum pro rata inc. bank holidays
  • Contract initially for one year
  • Must have the highest level of verbal and written communication in the English language (preferably degree level)
  • An impeccable level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • A working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • A good knowledge of Tapestry interactive on-line learning journal software (or training given)
  • Managing the day to day running of Tapestry, setting up and closing child accounts, ensuring Tapestry is kept up to date and deadlines achieved.
  • Editing, formatting and proofreading nursery Tapestry observations, comments and photographic and video content.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, proactive and adaptable
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bank Nursery Practitioners – All locations

Bank Nursery Practitioner positions available at Brighton, Hove, Peacehaven and Seaford.

  • Casual flexible hours to suit, Monday to Friday, all year round
  • £8.26 per hour. (£7.38 plus holiday pay)       25 years+   £8.77 per hour. (£7.83 plus holiday pay)

You will undertake relevant training towards a Hopscotch and Ofsted approved childcare qualification

  • 12 month contract, all year round, 42.5 hrs a week

Qualified Nursery Practitioners

Qualified Nursery Practitioners required for Brighton Full or Part Time

  • Full time 40 hours
  • Part time 16+ hours per week. A variety of shift patterns available to include 8.00am-1.00pm, 1.00pm-6.00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: NVQ L2 £17,680 to £18,720 pa  Pro Rata    NVQ L3+ £18,720 to £20,800 pa  Pro Rata
  • You must have a relevant childcare qualification at Level 2 or Level 3 and experience working in a nursery or similar, knowledge and experience of the EYFS and an ability to support children’s development and their individual needs
  • Would suit – Nursery Practitioners with Level 2/3 or relevant Early Years Degree, Early Years Teachers, QTS, EYPS, Nurse, Health Visitor or Midwife.
