Located close to the amenities of Seaford Town Centre, Seaford train station, and multiple bus routes to Brighton, Lewes and Eastbourne, our nursery in Seaford offers a convenient location for commuting parents. Parents’ needs are supported further with 7.30am starts and 6.00pm finishes where required and flexible attendance patterns for half days, school days, or full days are also available.
Our older children enjoy a stimulating variety of activities and learning throughout the day delivered by our graduate led staff. All activities are centred around the Early Years Foundation Stage to help children learn through play:
We also offer a Kids Club school holiday scheme for children up to the age of 8 years old.
We were awarded Good in all areas by Ofsted in 2021. See our latest Good Ofsted Inspection Report
Hopscotch Seaford has received a national ‘Outstanding Food Award’ for our quality and commitment to children’s food and nutrition as part of the Healthy Active Little Ones (HALO) – East Sussex programme, funded by East Sussex County Council Public Health. This has been certified by the Children’s Food Trust who are the leading experts in children’s food who are on a mission to get every child eating well and believe that when children eat better they do better. We share that belief and ensure the food we provide at our nursery gives children the energy and nutrition they need to fulfil their potential. Our catering extends to a number of dietary requirements including vegetarian, dairy free, sugar free and no pork meal options.
Our large and spacious rooms are decorated with bright murals and wall displays and have a light and airy feel, giving the children freedom to move around.
All of our rooms are furnished to a high standard with Community Playthings wooden equipment.

Children’s individual needs are met by our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator by planning strategies and targets using IEP’s and advice from professionals involved in the child’s care and a specialist support team. The Key Person will work with the SENDco to oversee the IEP targets for your child. They will also work with other practitioners to ensure provision is relevant and appropriate, and seek support when needed. For more information please see our Local Offer in full.
