A December to Remember at Hopscotch
December has brought a real sense of magic to Hopscotch, with our nurseries across Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Peacehaven and Seaford embracing the festive season in their own wonderful ways. From crafts and decorations to music, stories and cosy moments together, it has been a month full of joy, curiosity and connection.
A highlight this year has been our Hopscotch Advent Calendar, a daily countdown focused on shared experiences. Each day has revealed a festive activity or invitation to play, helping children build excitement, enjoy familiar routines and celebrate together with their friends and educators.
Across our settings, children have enjoyed seasonal crafts, festive songs and dancing, winter-themed sensory play, story times, baking and food play, and outdoor winter fun wrapped up warm. Everything has been thoughtfully planned to support learning through play, while creating those special festive memories children carry with them.
