Celebrating Pride with the Hopscotch Family

This weekend, the streets of Brighton came alive with colour, music, and celebration for Brighton & Hove Pride - and the Hopscotch family was right at the heart of it.

It was an incredible honour to take part in the Pride Parade, standing proud alongside so many wonderful individuals, groups, and organisations all coming together to celebrate love, inclusivity, and community. For us at Hopscotch, these values are at the very core of what we believe in and what we teach the children in our care every single day.

Why Pride Matters to Hopscotch

At Hopscotch Children’s Nurseries, we believe that inclusion starts young. We aim to nurture a culture of kindness, respect, and acceptance in our nurseries, so every child learns that the world is brighter when we celebrate each other’s differences.

Our Pride message -“Tiny hands hold big rainbows” - captures exactly what we stand for: the idea that even the smallest hands can carry big messages of love, equality, and hope.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We’d like to give a huge thank you to our amazing team for making our Pride float such a joyful, welcoming space. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and energy made the day so special.

And to everyone who came out to cheer us on - thank you for your warmth and encouragement. You made us feel so welcome, and you reminded us why Pride is such an important celebration for our community.

We are so proud to have been part of something so special. Here’s to love, kindness, and rainbows - today and every day.
