At Hopscotch, we’re proud to stand alongside our LGBTQIA+ staff, parents and children — not just during Pride season, but all year round. Inclusion, respect and belonging are at the heart of everything we do.

Celebrating Pride with Purpose

This summer, we’re excited to be taking part in the Brighton & Hove Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade, taking place on Saturday 2nd August 2025. The parade is one of the largest in the UK, with over 300,000 people expected to attend across the weekend of celebrations.

Our Staff Will Be Standing Proud

Our amazing team will be standing proudly on the Hopscotch float, representing the values we live by every day — support, inclusion and celebration.

And they won’t be alone.

A Creative Contribution from Every Child

In the run-up to the parade, every child across our nurseries has been working on a special art project to help decorate the float. It’s their way of joining in with something bigger — a shared celebration of identity, family and love.

Pride Done Right

As we prepare to take part in this important event, we’re also reminded that Pride is more than a party. It’s a time to show up with care, respect and clarity, and to keep learning how to be better allies — as a team, and as individuals.
