Hopscotch Seaford Welcomes the BBC

83

This week, Hopscotch Seaford had a very special visitor - Marcella Whittingdale, BBC producer and presenter. ?✨

Marcella joined us to see how nurseries like Hopscotch give children the best start in life. She spent time with our staff and children, experiencing the care, creativity and warmth that make Hopscotch such a special place to grow and learn.

Recognising the Challenges

Alongside celebrating nursery life, Marcella also explored the pressures early years providers are facing, from staff shortages to rising costs. These are real challenges across the sector - but we are so proud of our Hopscotch team, who continue to go above and beyond for children and families every single day.

Sharing Our Story

We’re proud that our children and staff had the chance to share their voices with the BBC, highlighting both the magic of nursery life and the importance of supporting early years education.

When to Watch

You can catch the BBC feature on Sunday 12th October on the BBC Politics Show South East at 10am.

We’re excited for our families, staff and wider community to see Hopscotch Seaford on screen - and to be part of this important conversation.
