Hopscotch’s Little Artists raise over £4,500 for Amaze

Children and families from Hopscotch Children’s Nurseries have raised an incredible £4,651.40 for local charity Amaze through this summer’s Little Artists for Amaze exhibitions.

Every child at Hopscotch created their own piece of artwork, which was proudly displayed at exhibitions held across our seven nurseries between June and August. Families were invited to come along, celebrate the children’s creativity and purchase their artwork, raising a fantastic £2,325.70.

Hopscotch matched every penny donated, bringing the final total to £4,651.40.

The donation comes just before the launch of the Amaze Story Trail, which runs across Brighton & Hove from 12 September to 8 November. Families will be able to discover more than 30 BookBench sculptures painted by local artists, as well as smaller sculptures decorated by local children. These include seven mini BookBenches created by children from each of our Hopscotch nurseries.
