Hopscotch Art Events

We’re so excited to launch Hopscotch Art Space, a new series of free creative community events for children and families.

Our vision for these sessions is to create welcoming, accessible spaces where children can explore their creativity freely while parents and carers have the chance to slow down, connect, and spend time together within the local community.

Our very first pop up is a Babes in Arms session, hosted in partnership with One Church, with activities thoughtfully designed for babies, toddlers, and their grown-ups. Expect sensory exploration, painting, sculpting, and plenty of opportunities to create together in a relaxed environment with no pressure to sit still or follow a set structure. We’ll finish the morning by coming together for an interactive story session.

Our second event has been designed especially for primary school aged children and their families. Led by the Hopscotch Holiday Club team, the afternoon is all about creativity, play, and giving children the chance to unwind after the school day.

There’ll be plenty to explore, including:
• Seashell mosaics
• Clay creations
• Shark tooth beaded necklaces
• A Lego free play table

Whether your child loves crafting, building, creating, or simply exploring at their own pace, we hope there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming families along and growing these creative community events together.
