Join Our Messy Playdate

We’re delighted to announce a brand-new event that puts dads and their children at the heart of the fun – a Messy Playdate hosted by Hopscotch Children’s Nurseries in partnership with Bright PIP, a Brighton-based charity supporting the vital bond between parents and their infants during the early years.

This relaxed and playful session offers a wonderful opportunity for dads to connect with their children through sensory play, creativity and good old-fashioned mess! Whether it’s squishing, splashing or painting, the emphasis is on shared experience and quality time – no pressure, no perfection, just connection.

- Time: 10:15am – 11:45am
- Location: Yellowave Beach Café, Brighton
- Cost: Free to attend – just bring clothes you don’t mind getting messy!

Designed especially for young children and their dads (or male carers), the playdate will include a range of engaging sensory activities using materials such as flour and shaving foam – perfect for encouraging exploration and strengthening the parent-child bond in a fun, supportive environment.

Bright PIP (Brighton Parent Infant Partnership) is a local charity working to ensure that every baby has the best start in life by strengthening early relationships. We’re proud to be working with them to support dads in building strong, nurturing connections with their little ones through playful experiences like this.
