Solar Panels Coming to Hopscotch Preston Park

Hopscotch Preston Park Going Solar

We’re excited to share that solar panels are being installed this week at Hopscotch Preston Park, marking an important step in our ongoing sustainability journey.

At Hopscotch, we believe caring for children also means caring for the world they will grow up in. This new installation will allow us to generate clean, renewable energy directly at the nursery, helping to reduce our environmental impact.

Why Preston Park?

Hopscotch Preston Park was chosen for the installation because it has one of the largest roof spaces across our nurseries. This means we can install more panels and maximise the amount of renewable energy we produce.

The energy generated will help power the nursery’s day-to-day activities, and there is even the potential for Preston Park to support other Hopscotch settings in the future.

Part of Our Sustainability Journey

The solar panels are part of our wider sustainability plan at Hopscotch. We’re always looking for ways to make thoughtful, responsible choices that benefit both our children and the environment.

Whether it’s encouraging children to explore nature through our outdoor learning experiences or making changes to how our nurseries operate, we’re committed to taking positive steps towards a greener future.

We’re really excited to be taking this next step and can’t wait to see the impact it will have.
